Fiction and Nonfiction Collections:
- JLG - Digital Library: Great collection of free ebooks and audio books for middle school (there are also collections for elementary school and high school.
- Classicly - free classic books for young readers
- Bookrix - Free Fiction eBooks for K-8. Some will be too young for you. Search for the right fit.
- Open-Library (Internet Archive): These books are free to the public during the closure. You need to create an account (just click "Sign-Up") for this site, but it's free and the books can be borrowed for 2 weeks (and then renewed)
- "Libby" - free books for phone or tablet. Download the app on your phone or tablet and you can check books out from the public library (they will issue you an instant (temporary) library card if you don't have one. If you have one, add it and your good to go! They have both text and audio books to choose from. Choose what you're looking for in "Preferences" and it will sort them accordingly.
